This dataset contains experimental run-to-failure data of oscillating needle bearings. For each experiment, two bearings were tested. In total, eight tests were conducted, in which the test parameters such as lubrication, sine wave amplitude, preload and frequency were varied. The following were recorded:

Acceleration

Radial bearing movement

Torque

Temperature

Radial load

Amplitude of the oscillation

The dataset is stored in a standard MATLAB ‘.mat’ file, which consists of a matrix with the first column being a time vector (in seconds) and the second column corresponding to raw sensor data. The filename for each dataset follows the following format Test2_Oil2_10-9-10_Data_1_to_1032_Acc_Sensor_1.mat:
