Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is a powerful non-invasive technique used to investigate the internal electrochemical processes of lithium-ion capacitors (LICs)- hybrid energy storage devices that combine the high energy density of lithium-ion batteries with the high power density and long cycle life of supercapacitors. This dataset provides EIS measurements from three commercially available LICs (Capxx, Eaton, and Vinatech) collected under varying operating and aging conditions. State of charge (SOC) measurements were acquired over the full range from 0% to 100% in 5% increments, while state of health (SOH) was evaluated every 5,000 charge–discharge cycles until the cells reached end-of-life (80% SOH) or completed 100,000 cycles. Impedance spectra were recorded over a frequency range of 10 mHz to 20 kHz using a 50 mA sinusoidal excitation current. The dataset captures the influence of both SOC and aging on the impedance response of LICs and can be used for developing and benchmarking state estimation algorithms, degradation diagnostics, equivalent circuit models, and machine learning approaches for advanced battery management systems.
