"This is a synthetic dataset generated using X-Plane flight simulator to model normal and engine failure scenarios in a twin-engine aircraft, specifically the Baron and King Air. The dataset includes normal operations as well as left- and right-engine failure conditions under varying flight parameters. It is designed to support research in fault detection, classification, and aircraft system modeling. By providing controlled and labeled data, this work enables the development and evaluation of machine learning and diagnostic algorithms for aviation safety applications. The dataset offers a flexible, cost-effective alternative to real-world data collection for studying engine failure behavior in multi-engine aircraft."
