Overview

This dataset contains cycling test data from three lithium-ion battery cells subjected to repeated charge–discharge cycles under controlled conditions. The experiments were conducted from April to September 2025 using a custom-developed battery testing system that continuously records degradation parameters.

Each cell was tested at a different discharge C‑rate (1C, 2C, or 2.75C) to represent various usage intensities commonly encountered in electric vehicle and high-power applications, while maintaining a consistent charge protocol across all cells. The dataset is specifically designed to support research in:

State of Health (SoH) and Remaining Useful Life (RUL) estimation

Degradation modeling under high-rate discharge conditions

Validation of physics-based and data-driven battery models

Machine learning for time-series prediction of battery behavior

Predictive maintenance strategy development

Constant current (CC) discharge down to 30% SoC at different C‑rates:- Cell 1: 2.75 C (4950 mA)- Cell 2: 2 C (3600 mA)- Cell 3: 1 C (1800 mA)

Rest period

5 minutes of open‑circuit rest between each charge and discharge step

Cycle count

Each cell was cycled repeatedly until reaching a predefined end‑of‑life criterion (70% capacity retention)

Measured Parameters

The recorded data include the following parameters per cycle, with a sampling frequency of 1 Hz:
